Application Engineer Cummins location Melbourne.
About the role an exciting customer and product focused position has become available in our engineering department for an innovative and experienced engineer to join our close knit team.
The successful candidate would work as the senior technical liaison between OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and represent our customers during new product development programs. You would also work closely with marketing and sales teams to achieve the business objectives.
Some other tasks would include the development of technical specifications. Implementing new design configurations. Deliver high performance, low-cost equipment and system solutions integrated with customers’ products in a variety of applications.

About you prior Senior or Lead Engineer experience in a relevant discipline, e.g. Mechanical Engineering. Experience with development and implementations of new products. Machine integration and optimization. Solutions focus and strategic mindset. Ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and to lead and influence people with a strong customer centric attitude. Effective written and verbal communication.
