Assistant Accountant Hays Accountancy and Finance location Melbourne. Working in a leading Not-For-Profit, we are currently looking to appoint a driven and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant into a permanent position.

Your new role provide support to the cfo and wider finance team, as required.

This role may consist of the following tasks assistant accountant - hays - recruiting experts worldwide, assistance with accounts payable, accounts receivable & payroll, assistance with month-end reporting, reconciliation & analysis, assistance with budgets & forcasting, dealing with customer queries via email and telephone, adhoc tasks, as required.

To be successful in these roles, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience in an assistant accountant role, working towards your CPA qualification, Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills, a self-starter naturally inquisitive and curious person, good communications skills, ability to use discretion to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes, previous experience in a similar role in within the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
