Assistant Accountant Bizwear location Melbourne. Salary $50,000 - $59,999. Due to continued growth, an exciting position has become available for an Assistant account to join our successful and growing business. Bizwear is a private company providing corporate uniforms to companies across Australia and the world. Based in Bayswater we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Account to join our team, this is a permanent full time position reporting to the chief accountant.

Your duties will include but not limited to review, validation and analysis of costs incurred, responsible for coding & processing of AP invoices, reconciliations and payment run, bank reconciliations, providing regular cashflow forecast, create and process general ledger journals and reconciliations, prepare monthly profit and loss and balance sheet, responsible for preparation and timely lodgements of business activity statements, assist the chief accountant in month end reporting and various projects as required.

Skills and experience degree qualified in accounting or finance working towards CA or CPA qualification sound computer skills, experience in MYOB, Xero and Styleman an advantage excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve, have a “can-do” positive attitude and show initiative, well organised and have good time management skills, great opportunity to learn, be mentored and develop your career.
