Finance Manager Guide Dogs Qld location Brisbane. Guide Dogs Queensland is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. This position will be based from our lovely campus at Bald Hills, on Brisbane’s north side. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services, advise, support, lead and mentor the finance team. There are five roles in the finance team which report to the Finance Manager. The Finance Manager is also responsible for monthly management and board reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, prepare annual financial statements for statutory accounting purposes, assist with budget preparation, the collection, interpreting and reviewing of financial information, managing the preparation and publication of departmental and organisation financial documents, reporting to management and key stakeholders by providing advice on how the organisation and future business decisions might be impacted, developing strategies that minimize financial risk, performing a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the organization, collaborating with management on development and execution of strategic initiatives. About you our successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate a minimum of 5 years proven experience in a finance manager role, relevant tertiary qualifications in finance / business, cpa or ca qualifications, audit experience highly desirable, a strong understanding of australian legislative requirements, a demonstrated ability to develop and implement internal systems, high level computer literacy in contemporary finance and accounting software applications, proven relationship management skills, exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to effectively lead teams.
