Teacher Aide St Margaret's Anglican Girls School location Brisbane. We are currently inviting applications for the role of Teacher Aide - Learning Enhancement. The Learning Support and Enhancement Program at St Margaret's incorporates the provision of support to students with exceptional needs, from learning disabilities to gifted and talented students. The focus of this program is a teaching and learning philosophy based on a developmental and differentiated curriculum. The Teacher Aide - Learning Enhancement role is focused on assisting in the implementation of the Learning Enhancement Program by providing in class support of students under the direction of the class teacher as well as performing general support and administration duties. The role supports students from Prep - Year 12. Whilst it is expected this role will work across a varied spectrum of the curriculum, the successful candidate is required to have a strong ability and experience with supporting students with literacy and numeracy based work in the Secondary school.  Alternatively, the successful candidate may have a strong background in inclusive education and supporting students with disability in the Primary years.  Only applicants with formal qualification in education and experience will be considered. A TESOL qualification would also be advantageous. This role could be 5 days per week, or it may be offered on a part-time basis of 2 - 3 days per week. Daily work hours are 8am - 3.30pm during school term time. The role will initially be offered on a 12 month contract for the 2020 school year. This is the ideal role for someone who values the importance of offering a differentiated learning experience to students and supporting students to achieve their best learning outcomes.
