Our continued growth has created a new and exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to work from our Head Office in Norwest. FireSense is a specialist supplier of Electronic Fire Systems and Fire Rated cabling products to Installers and Wholesalers. We are a dynamic, fast growing, independently owned business. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the processing of financial transactions and preparation of financial reporting of this rapidly growing company. More specifically, your role will include general ledger reconciliations, preparation of detailed weekly cash flow analysis, ensuring accuracy and posting of daily invoicing, bank reconciliations, preparation of supplier/o’seas payments, preparation of monthly payroll tax, lodgment of monthly superannuation, posting of month end journals, maintaining fixed asset register, coordinating workers compensation, assisting the financial controller with financial modelling and forecasting to assist with the decision making process, assisting accounts payable / receivable. The successful applicant should meet the following requirements will be a proven performer and be ca/cpa qualified or near completion, minimum 5 years’ experience in a product related construction/wholesale business, be "hands on" and be willing to drive change, comfortable in working closely together in a privately owned business with active directors.
