Your Next Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to maintain the impeccable appearance of the site and attend to any maintenance issues as they arise and in accordance with the requirements of the site.

Ingenia Taigum Rentals offers comfortable, affordable, and community-focused living for residents of all ages in a welcoming and well-maintained environment.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this is a casual role with additional hours able to be picked up during peak seasons.

In this role you’ll

Maintain beautiful outdoor spaces through mowing, pruning, planting, and pest control, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site, including accommodation, pool areas, and equipment, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets to deliver high standards within financial guidelines.
Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents.
Collaborate with team members, respond to resident queries, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.

You’re Likely a Match If You

Hold a current “C” Class manual driver’s licence.
Have hands-on experience in building and grounds maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
Are proactive, positive, and committed to delivering high levels of service with clear communication and a team-first attitude.
Are comfortable with manual tasks like lifting, bending, and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions.
Have an understanding of the importance of PPE and safe handling of chemicals, tools, and machinery to maintain a secure work environment.
You’re someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
