JOB DESCRIPTION
The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll not only supervise but also actively participate in cleaning operations. You will support the Cleaning Manager in overseeing nightly tasks, managing a team, and ensuring the venue is spotless, safe, and professionally presented.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across large-scale event spaces and corporate function rooms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise overnight cleaning operations while performing cleaning duties yourself.

Ensure high-quality outcomes by working alongside your team and setting the standard.

Assist with rostering, stock control, reporting and labour management.

Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients, staff, and patrons.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have

The legal right to live and work in Australia without restrictions.

A valid visa that allows full-time employment - Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship, or a visa with unrestricted work rights.

No limitations on working hours. Must not be restricted to 24 hours.

The ability to work overnight shifts as required by the role.

Qualifications/Experience:

Training in safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment (advantageous).

Experience with ride-on powered cleaning equipment (preferred).

Proven experience in commercial cleaning environments.

Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and equipment.

Previous overnight shift work.

Experience supervising teams of 5–10 staff.
