Your Opportunity

MindStep is a telephone-based, guided self-help mental health program based on Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LICBT). The MindStep Mental Health Coach role will involve delivery of Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LICBT) based guided self-help/self-management interventions. Interventions will target clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression and seek to achieve quality healthcare outcomes. Coaching responsibilities will involve delivery of high quality LICBT care with guided self-help coaching.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity worked remotely, Monday to Friday, from the comfort of your home.

About You
You will be a self-motivated, adaptable person who is passionate about assisting clients with evidence based, holistic Mental Healthcare Programs. To be successful in this position you will need:

Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy University Qualification (LiCBT Practitioner Training)
A demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with people affected by common mental health challenges
Demonstrated understanding of contemporary issues affecting the mental health and wellbeing of people living in Australia.
Demonstrated community engagement experience and/or facilitating connections between individuals and appropriate support services or networks
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others
Desirable:

Some level of work and/or study in Mental Health, Community Development, Home Care Services and/or Allied Health.
