Your New Role

As the Youth Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for working in close partnership with local Council, government, business, families, and community organisations to provide and coordinate services to youth and community. The role will enable and empower young people’s participation in the program. We’re committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Every interaction with our members is designed to contribute to their sense of belonging and growth. About You

Minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline, or equivalent level experience in social and community sector
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in undertaking the range of activities required.
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of diverse groups, including young people, community and Government agency representatives.
Current First Aid/CPR
Hold a current drivers' licence, and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
