Service Desk Analyst Hays Information Technology location Melbourne. Victorian State Government needs a Service Desk Analyst for a 3 month contract .Great day rate. Your new company this role is with a state Government organisation and based in Melbourne’s CBD. This organisation plays a vital role within the community and requires a Release Lead to assist with support. Your new role provide a first level support service for victorian spatial data library (vsdl) users, provide a first level support service e.g. desktop gis (geographic information systems, web mapping and data discovery/download) services, monitoring and tracking incidents and services request received via (servicenow), respond to all requests in accordance with documented procedures to agreed service targets, provide advice to business owners and isd projects regarding how to publish data to the vsdl and how to access data in the vsdl, provide support and advise on changes to vsdl datasets and ensure compliance to the approved change management process, develop and maintain effective working relationships with vsdl users and stakeholders, maintain support documentation including operation manuals, help sheets and frequently asked questions (fa’s), work collaboratively with team members to ensure successful outcomes, demonstrate and uphold appropriate workplace behaviours aligned with the department’s values, champion the desired culture and workplace environment. What you'll need to succeed completion of relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications, knowledge of victorian spatial data library (vsdl) user, experience with gis (geographic information systems), has broad knowledge of spatial data products, their structure, status, and the processes of maintenance, has broad knowledge of the current mechanisms for the distribution and publication of spatial data, experienced in using gis mapping software, preferably esri arcgis desktop, experience using servicenow would be desirable but is not essential.
