About the role
Step into a pivotal role at the heart of our Events team as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Events Officer. This position offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, providing high-level support that keeps our Events team running seamlessly. If you’re a natural organiser with exceptional communication skills and a talent for thriving under pressure, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact while helping deliver world-class events.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Act as the executive point of contact, communicating with stakeholders and actioning requests to coordinate communications and ensure the achievement of objectives and timeframes.
Support the Chief Events Officer to manage their workload, including prioritisation, scheduling and diary management
Prepare communications, reports, presentations and correspondence for the Chief Events Officer ensuring comprehensiveness, accuracy and timeliness of information
Provide administration support across travel, expense reconciliation and PO generation
Provide support the broader Events team, facilitating meetings, administration and the communication
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Superior writing skills, with the ability to seamlessly correspond on behalf of your Executive
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Ability to flex with changing priorities, whilst maintaining a positive solution focussed outlook
High level of initiative and process thinking to ensure continuous improvement of processes
Advanced administrative IT literacy in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Availability to work varied hours in January during the AO and Summer of Tennis events
Naturally collaborative, you will enjoy being part of a fun and inclusive team
You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
