About the role
The Australian Tennis Foundation (ATF) aims to inspire brighter futures for disadvantaged children and young people through tennis. The role encompasses end-to-end donor stewardship from prospect identification through to major gift closure and ongoing engagement, while leveraging major events like the Australian Open to maximise philanthropic and fundraising opportunities.
In this role you will:
Lead and optimise integrated, multi-year fundraising strategies and campaigns (digital, events, workplace giving, bequests, corporate hospitality, auctions, donor engagement), with a coordinated annual calendar and continuous evaluation for impact and ROI.
Build and steward high-value donor and corporate philanthropic partnerships through strategic relationship building, tailored programs and exclusive experiences.
Work in close consultation with the Social Impact Partnerships Manager to develop grant applications to philanthropic foundations and charitable trusts
Ensure compliance with governance and fundraising regulations by managing reporting, tax-deductible giving partnerships, registrations, ethical practices, donor privacy, and audit-ready documentation.
In collaboration with PR and Marketing develop strategic communications to inspire giving by defining messaging, creating donor-focused content, securing media coverage, and driving engagement across digital, PR, and storytelling platforms.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
Demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive fundraising strategy development, including major gift solicitation, campaign management, donor stewardship, and multi-channel fundraising approaches
Advanced capability in cultivating, managing, and stewarding high-value donor relationships across individual, corporate, and foundation sectors
Proven experience designing and executing successful fundraising campaigns integrated with major events, including corporate hospitality, auctions, and spectator engagement

Strong financial acumen with experience managing fundraising budgets, revenue targets, and demonstrating ROI across multiple fundraising channels
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage donors, volunteers, and stakeholders across diverse demographics
