About the role

Based in Manjimup, this role offers a diverse and hands-on experience. One day, you might be carrying out planned maintenance at a wastewater treatment plant; the next, you could be repairing machinery or replacing pumps and valves.

Over the course of four years, you’ll gain the skills and experience needed to become a fully qualified tradesperson, setting you up for a rewarding and stable career.

Your skills and experience

For this role, we are looking for great talent with:

A WA ‘C Class’ Driver’s Licence, or be actively working towards obtaining one.
Completion of Year 12 (or Year 10 in some cases) and a desire to pursue a trade.
A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
A solid awareness of safety and a commitment to working safely.
Motivation, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in hands-on work.
Comfortable performing physical tasks including manual labour, precision work in workshops or field environments, and some handling of dangerous goods (don’t worry, we’ll provide all the training you need to stay safe).
The ability to learn and eventually perform the full scope of work expected of a qualified tradesperson, with appropriate training and supervision.
A pre-apprenticeship is a bonus but not essential.
