This next phase of growth calls for a Student Support Manager to ensure existing and newly on-boarded students are getting maximum usage from the service. As the best person for the job, you've got a burning desire to help on a tech platform that helps people to finish their degrees, and to be a part of a growing tech start-up. You thrive on helping people, love helping to piece together efficiencies, and being a part of the founding team of 8. This role is for someone who loves the grit, the thrill & excitement of tech start ups and wants to play a role in changing the way education is delivered in australia (and globally), is happy to work mon-fri between 12 pm and 9 pm daily, this ensures students based in the uk get the support they need & allows for the overlap in time differences, get's a real kick out of making a customer happy, you delight at the thought of helping students find their ideal tutors and navigate their way around the app, enjoys writing - so that when you're not helping students you can help build out the resource library and working on projects for the exec team, is self motivated, will think outside of the box, challenge processes that don't make sense and act as the voice of the customer. As someone who likely spent time at uni themselves you understand how important it is for students to get the support they need - and you get such a kick out of it, working in a hungry, high energy team driven to create something with impact, working with a huge amount of autonomy, meaning you can utilise your innate motivation to do a great role, an incredible boss who's loads of fun & leads with a lot of heart, free coffee & beer onsite, the option to work from home on friday's if you desire. Your role will cover fielding inquiries from students that may include topics like app functionality, finding the right tutors, service feedback or how to use the product, distilling feedback to the head of customer success, ensuring the data is meaningful & usable, implementing minor changes (no coding required), delivering exceptional customer service to the end user - you've got an infectious passion for people, using your quiet periods to work on projects such as copywriting for the resource library or assisting the marketing team.
