Your new company  a large, well known Australian organisation based on the outskirts of Melbourne CBD are offering a very exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance department on a temporary to permanent basis. Due to an internal promotion this role will be available immediately and will consist of an in depth handover period. Your new role reporting directly to the finance manager your key responsibilities will include post journals and update ledgers, fixed assets register management, supporting accounts payable & receivable with month end close, liaising with internal and external teams in relation to financial queries, financial reporting of consolidated results, aged debt etc.  What you'll need to succeed previous assistant accountant experience, bachelor degree in accounting, commenced ca/cpa qualification, strong written and verbal communication skills, experience using a large erp system, sap/oracle/dynamics etc. What you'll get in return competitive hourly rate, temp to perm opportunity, flexible working hours, ongoing training & development, future progression opportunities.
