Sous Chef location Beach Road / Bugis / Rochor, Central. Job Type Full-Time. Company Name Just Recruit Singapore Pte Ltd. Working Day 6 days, working hour 54 hour per week, location bras basah, salary $2500 - $3000. Responsibilities making sure all kitchen equipment is in working order, they must thoroughly understand how to use and troubleshoot all appliances and cooking instruments in the event of a malfunctioning cooking device, sous-chefs need to be responsive and have the ability to improvise when a problem arises while the restaurant is busy, ensure safety precautions and sanitary provisions are taken to ensure a safe and clean working environment, plan and direct how the food is presented on the plate, keep their kitchen staff in order, train new chefs, create the work schedule, and make sure all the food that goes to customers is of the best quality to make customers happy, sous-chefs need to be responsive and have the ability to improvise when a problem arises while the restaurant is busy, support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times, ensure strict adherence to food safety, food sanitation and nea hygiene and practices, assist the head chef in the kitchen at all times. Requirements only singaporean, candidate must possess at least professional certificate/nitec in food beverages services management or equivalent, at least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, knowledge of german/european food is preferred, have a updated food hygiene cert, required skills: culinary, ms excel, only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
