Here’s What a Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:

Lead the preparation and cooking of meals for residents, ensuring high-quality food is served.
Collaborate with the Chef Manager to plan menus catering to dietary requirements, preferences, and cultural needs.
Oversee kitchen operations, including stock control, waste management, and food safety protocols.
Ensure meals are presented beautifully and in line with food safety standards.
Work closely with kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within aged care or hospitality.
Strong knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
