Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to support the implementation of a Broking Platform in Australia. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract role, reporting to the Head of Project Management Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical execution, ensuring the successful delivery of key components of the project. This is a hybrid role combining core Business Analyst duties with selected Project Management responsibilities.
The Role
Define and manage activities within the agreed scope of the project
Lead system configuration activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Conduct in-depth policy analysis for in-scope business areas
Perform template gap analysis and validation to ensure system alignment
Drive the delivery of new platform features, including analysis, testing, and deployment
Support change management and communications throughout the project lifecycle
Assist with business readiness planning and Go-Live support activities
Qualifications
The Requirements
Previous experience as a Business Analyst in a system implementation or platform migration project
Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with data analysis using Excel
Familiarity with reading and interpreting Power BI reports
Ability to take on project management tasks when required
Understanding of the insurance industry is a plus; ability to learn quickly and pick up domain knowledge is essential
Experience supporting change and business readiness initiatives
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
