Technical Support Consultant location Hout Bay, Atlantic Seaboard. Job Type Full-Time. Description we are a fast-growing, hout Bay-based Software Company specialising in system integrations. We are looking for support consultants to join our team on a permanent basis. The role relates to providing telephonic support to our clients in the setup and maintenance of our software. The role requires a good understanding of data and spreadsheets. Requirements computer literate and confident, understanding of the supply chain, basic understanding of ecommerce, customer service orientated with a good telephone manner, attention to detail, a good communicator (verbal and written), a team player with strong organisational skills, good working knowledge of data and spreadsheets, technical reporting (bug/incident reports), time management and time tracking imperative. Communication software support consultants must be able to communicate technical issues to colleagues and customers with a variety of backgrounds, which means they need to be able to explain the issues and fixes in a way that is equally understood by the tech guru and the tech-challenged user. They also need to be good listeners, carefully listening to the user’s concern, and solving his or her problem. Flexibility able to work independently, manage time efficiently, prioritisation, quickly learn new technologies, team player, virtual working capabilities, willingness to explore new technologies. Patience attention to detail, high level of concentration and commitment, interact with a wide range of customers and technical issues, listening, maintain customer relationships, outstanding customer service.
