If you’re a highly motivated undergraduate student completing an energy industry-related degree, from an accredited Australian tertiary engineering provider, pre-register for our Amplify Connect Program.

Our Amplify Programs are targeted career accelerators that will enable you to develop critical technical and professional skills, to confidently transition into a career within the energy industry.

Our Amplify Program

Amplify Connect
Amplify Connect enables you to take charge of your own development and career direction. This program is designed to equip you with energy sector knowledge and hands-on experiences, empowering you to explore and choose a career in the energy industry.
As an Amplify Connector you’ll receive career development opportunities, work experience, and professional development activities designed to enhance your skills and prepare you for the workforce.
The Amplify Connect Program is open to undergraduate students (first to final year) completing an energy industry related degree.
Amplify Connectors in the final two years of their engineering degree can apply to be an Amplify Scholar.

Amplify Scholar
Amplify Scholars will receive financial support of $20k across the two-year program, paid internship opportunities, thesis support and extensive professional development activities.
Amplify Scholars will work with industry professionals across Energy Queensland supporting you to develop critical work readiness skills and knowledge to confidentially step into your professional engineering career.
As an Amplify Scholar, you’ll apply your skills and innovative mindset to critical projects across our business to develop new technologies, enhance future capability and support the renewable energy transition.

Energy Queensland is the group of electricity distribution, retail, and energy services businesses 100% owned by the state of Queensland. We deliver electricity across Queensland through our ‘poles and wires’ businesses Energex and Ergon Energy Network. Our retailer, Ergon Energy Retail sells this electricity to customers throughout regional Queensland. These essential service activities are supported by a range of innovative products and services delivered through our Yurika brand.
