Your opportunity:
We are looking for multiple On Site Assistants to fill permanent opportunities in our Operations – Field Delivery team located across the South East Region. These areas encompass, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane North, Brisbane Central, Brisbane South, Gold Coast and Ipswich Lockyer area.
As an On Site Assistant you will provide non-technical assistance to field staff, including manual handling tasks, material handling, general sundry depot duties and a range of non-technical field/administrative duties. Some additional key duties and responsibility include:
Providing presence and support on work sites or customer premises as necessary.
Liaise, communicate, and interact with external / internal customers and stakeholders as required.
Provide ground based Low Voltage Switch Board Rescue, CPR and or basic first aid commensurate with relevant training.

What you’ll bring:
You’ll need to be physically capable to carry out manual work - be prepared to get your hands dirty. You’ll be working in exposed conditions – the sun, wind, and the rain. There’ll be travel involved, meaning at times you’ll spend periods of time away from your family and loved ones.
Critical to your success in the role, is your:
Well-developed intrapersonal communication skills to build good working relationships with team members and external customers.
Demonstrated experience in customer facing roles and or relevant customer interface experience.
Current manual ‘C’ class open driver licence.
Low Voltage Switch Board Rescue, EWP rescue and Pole top rescue will be beneficial.
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Qld Construction Induction (white card).
We’d also love you to have:
HR/MR licence.
Understanding or exposure to switchboards.
Availability for call out and emergency work as well as work overtime as required.
Willingness to travel to surrounding area from time to time to undertake work.
Ability to safely work at heights.
Additionally, you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical.
