Full time permanent role (based on 35 hours per week). Fortnightly RDO. Salary: $77k - $82k + Super. Ability to transfer or take LSL (Long Service Leave) within Local Government.

About the role this Administration Officer Compliance is responsible for providing administration functions, assistance and support to the Development and Asset Assurance Unit, with a primary focus upon the enforcement administration requirements.

Responsibilities include process applications for, and issue, permits to allow works within roads. Assist with the administrative duties for all areas of the Development and Asset Assurance Unit as directed by the Team Leader Development Management and Unit Manager Development and Asset Assurance.

Process and generate requests for purchase orders and account payments in accordance with Council procedures. Provide administration support for the Asset Assurance Officer with the scheduling of vehicle crossing inspections. Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed, ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Skills and experience require to perform the role 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role. Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and record keeping computer programs. Ability to adopt a flexible, adaptable approach to work to meet changing demands and service delivery approaches.

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of infringement or compliance administration processes. Ability to work constructively in a team environment and contribute to a supportive team culture.
