Financial Accountant Sharp and Carter Finance and Accounting location Sydney, Parramatta and Western Suburbs. Salary $45 - 50/ hour + superannuation. This is an excellent opportunity to pick up an interim role over the Christmas period, support a business through their year end and gain additional experience in the process. Your responsibilities reporting to the financial controller duties include (but are not limited to), general ledger journal prep, posting & account reconciliations, review balance sheet & pal accounts for accuracy & consistency, month-end close, monthly bas return submission, cost center reporting & analysis, participate in the development of improved processes and streamlining procedures, assist with the budgeting/ forecasting processes, additional ad hoc work as directed by the line manager. The successful applicant  ideally, you will be a ca/cpa qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, strong Microsoft Excel skills and have a positive "can-do" work ethic.
