Marketing Manager

Are you a strategic and results-driven marketing leader looking to drive impactful brand and recruitment strategies? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and innovate within a highly respected education and training organisation. This role offers the chance to shape marketing initiatives, enhance brand presence, and contribute to student recruitment success.

Strategic Marketing Leadership

Develop and oversee a strategic marketing framework that supports student recruitment and brand development across domestic and international markets.
Provide advice and recommendations to senior leadership on marketing issues to inform decision-making aligned with organisational strategy.
Lead and evolve the agency's brand strategy, ensuring consistent internal adoption and compelling external execution.

Team Management and Leadership

Lead and manage a team of six direct reports across areas including digital marketing, content creation, communications, advertising, and student engagement.
Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous development through coaching, mentoring, and performance planning.

Campaigns and Recruitment Initiatives

Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to support recruitment pipelines.
Monitor and adapt campaigns based on market insights and changing student behaviours to optimise engagement and conversion.

Stakeholder and Relationship Management

Liaise with internal departments to identify marketing needs and opportunities, ensuring a cohesive approach to communications and outreach.
Manage external relationships with vendors, event organisers, and sponsorship partners, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximising ROI.

Digital and Content Strategy

Drive the development and integration of digital marketing strategies, including web, social, email, and content marketing.
Oversee the production of all marketing materials, publications, and branded content.

Budgeting and Financial Oversight

Manage the marketing department's budget, ensuring expenditure remains within approved limits and reporting is accurate and timely.
Monitor procurement and ensure value for money in sponsorships and third-party partnerships.

Compliance and Governance

Ensure compliance with government funding contracts, including VET and Higher Education requirements.
Lead the implementation of relevant audit recommendations and contribute to continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

A tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or management.
A minimum of three years' experience in a senior marketing leadership position, ideally within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
A proven track record of success in strategic marketing planning, brand management, and digital marketing execution.
Experience managing diverse marketing teams and collaborating across departments.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing significant marketing budgets.
An ability to drive continuous improvement and align marketing efforts with business goals.
