The Dockhand employee works on picking orders, sorting incoming and outgoing freight, assisting in the maintenance of grounds and daily housekeeping of the warehouse. The duties of the role are significant to our business as it enables us to deliver on our customer service promises day in and day out. Our Dockhands ensure that we meet customers expectations with regards to the correct and timely handling of their goods. The positions are casual and you are guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours per shift. We are seeking candidates who are flexible and able to work every day Monday to Saturday. Your specific tasks safe, secure and timely loading & unloading of vehicles, timely processing, sorting and consolidation of freight, ensure that items are correctly labeled,  check for special handling instructions, skills required forklift license, ability to work in a cold environment, sound mathematical skills, self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing, ability to meet deadlines and organisation of work.
