Office Administrator Waikato Waldorf School location Waikato.

We are a beautiful tree-lined urban area school, serving students from kindergarten to high school. Our long serving Office Administrator is retiring and we are seeking another Office Administrator / Secretary to join our Administration Team.

Previous experience in an admin or school office role would be an advantage. If you have strong organisational, time management and communication skills, along with an eye for detail, we would welcome your application. This is a full time position during Term time only, Mon-Fri, 8am to 4pm. There is a negotiated period of work within school term breaks also. Start date is the start of Term 2, 2025.

Duties are varied and include reception. General Office Administration. Student Enrolments. First Aid and Student Wellbeing. Payroll and HR Admin. Proprietor’s Trust administrative support.

The successful applicant must have experience relating to children, the ability to maintain confidentiality, a professional, friendly telephone manner, accuracy with figures and data entry, the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines, experience using Word, Excel, and Helix(Edge) an advantage.

A current first aid certificate is desirable but training will be given if necessary. The terms and conditions of employment are as per a collective employment agreement for Support Staff in Schools. The hourly rate of pay will reflect the applicant's relevant skills and experience.
