Finance Manager Sharp and Carter Finance and Accounting location Melbourne, CBD and Inner Suburbs. Salary $100,000 - $110,000. The role as a newly created role, you will lead the finance function and provide strategic and commercial support to the Directors. There will be a focus on process improvement and ensuring the accounting systems are up to standard. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to manage the finance team, business partner with the directors to make commercial decisions, manage the p&l, detailed planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost management for business performance (including analysis of individual performance against profitability) and future growth, compliance issues including all tax, accounting and business risk, reconcile bank accounts, oversee cash flow and cash flow forecasting to ensure availability of funds as needed, oversee asset management, presenting figures to the directors on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis review all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocation, coordinate audits and proper filing of tax return. The successful candidate ca / cpa qualified, you will have come from a services based environment and have had experience managing a team. With a hands on technical skill set with an aim for progressing your career, you will have an interest in the more commercial aspects of a finance function and driving change.
