About the business Deepcore Drilling is a leader in surface and underground drilling with extensive operations across Australia's East Coast. Due to continued expansion across Regional Victoria, we currently have new opportunities for Rig Fitters to join our team.

About the role due to continued growth within our Maintenance Division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to become a valued member within our Maintenance Teams.

This role would be working at our Epsom Maintenance Yard where you will conduct preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations, with a focus on maintaining safety and maximising production.

The role is roster is a Monday to Friday position. This role is well-suited to a Bendigo local. Full-time permanent role available on an hourly rate. Accommodation and meals provided on site. ASAP start.

Duties maintain and repair rigs, vehicles and equipment. Plan, schedule and organise own work within the requirements of the work plan, and coordinate with other parties as required.

Ensure thorough and meticulous completion of all maintenance records and documentation. Efficiently record and manage movement in and out of associated mechanical spare parts. Ensure that workshop and equipment are maintained to a serviceable condition.

Experience & qualifications heavy truck/ trailer experience essential. Heavy vehicle/diesel plant/drill rig background essential. Experience with pumps, compressors and boosters (highly regarded). Understanding of hydraulic schematics (essential). Ability to work in a team environment. Trade qualified (essential). Current HR Drivers Licence (essential). Senior First Aid.
