Our two investment vehicles are designed to stimulate private investment through fund of funds and direct (co-investment) models. Our market development mandate means we seek to partner and collaborate with a wide range of Government bodies and private organisations to help develop the early-stage New Zealand investment market and ultimately help early-stage New Zealand companies grow.
Some of the exciting companies we’ve invested in include Kami, OpenStar, Tradify, Auror, Riff Raff Games, KRY10 and Wellumio. Our Elevate Fund has invested in nine New Zealand venture capital funds so far, catalysing over $1 billion of capital to invest in startups at the Series A stage and beyond.
The Senior Investment Analyst should have these skills verbal and written communication, Analytical, critical and creative thinking, Commercial acumen, Growth mindset, Networking, Emotional maturity and self-awareness, Technical expertise in either direct investment, operational start-up or non-financial areas e.g. Engineering, biological sciences, Teamwork.
In your first 6 months you’ll learn more about the start-up ecosystem and get to develop relationships with some of our key stakeholders. Work alongside others on new and follow-on investments and get to understand our investment processes.
Actively engage with the market and assess new investment opportunities. Support our annual investment valuation work. Help us work on an updated investment strategy. Participate in and contribute to team building activities.
