Flute and Violin Instrumental Music Teachers Huntingtower School location Melbourne. $89 per hour.

Huntingtower School, renowned for its long-standing tradition of educational excellence and consistently ranking among the top schools in Victoria. The School is home to a highly acclaimed Music Department and is looking for two casual passionate and skilled Instrumental Music Teachers to join its team.

Flute this role will involve providing one-on-one tuition to private flute students, with an estimated teaching time allocation of approximately 6 hours per week.

Violin this role will involve providing one-on-one tuition to private violin students from the Junior and Senior Schools, with an estimated teaching time allocation of approximately 4 hours per week. It is anticipated that this will expand with new enrolments at the start of the year.

We are seeking applicants with strong experience as both a performer and educator, who have the ability to teach students from beginner to advanced levels. A high level of performance experience and a demonstrated passion for music education are highly valued. The successful candidate should have a broad appreciation of various musical genres and contemporary teaching methods.

About the roles commencing Term 1, 2025. Proficiency in Violin/Flute and Music Performance as a soloist and/or ensemble player. Passion for music and education.

Delivery of high-quality, individual instrumental lessons. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant qualifications or industrial experience in Music or Music Education. Ability to collaborate. Attendance at school concerts and recitals, excursions, as required.
