About the role zenith is currently recruiting for a permanent Cost Controller. Reporting directly to the Project Controller the right candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets, and supporting the Project Controller and Project Teams to deliver on project goals.

What You Will do utilise the Cost Management System, processes and procedures to ensure a consistent approach to project cost control, budget tracking, forecasting, cashflow and performance analysis. Verifying costs with vendors and suppliers, estimating expenditures and recommending cost-saving measures to the Project Controller.

Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the project including cost control metrics, forecasting and variance analysis. Support the Project Controller to help meet reporting goals. Facilitate cross-functional teams’ collaboration i.e. Engineering. Foster a data – driven culture to provide accurate, timely and relevant financial data to the Project Teams.

What You need qualification in Business/Accounting/Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (Desirable). Experience in Energy or Mining industry. Experience in Pronto (Desirable). Highly developed communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. A highly analytical approach with attention to details. Experience in cost management. Stong Microsoft office skills.
