Sign Spraypainter Elite Signs Ltd location Canterbury. $30 – $35 per hour.

Looking for someone to start mid-January. Our spraypainter required is using 2-pack solvent based paints so not suited to a painter/decorators. Spray painter required, qualifications not essential but at least 1-years recent experience and confidence behind a spray gun is necessary. Oxygen fed mask and spray guns will be provided and you'll be working in a spray/bake booth.

Varied and interesting work, from painting flat panels to fabricated letters ( plastic, alloy, steel), to poles, brackets & frames. You are the sole painter in charge of your own area.

Although most of the time you'll be busy painting, from time to time we do have a quiet period and we do have welding, electrical assembly, CNC, laser cutting machines and installations as other work areas so having other skills or wanting to help is beneficial, we’re all about staff being multi-skilled.

Duties include prep work, including filling, sanding/masking etc. Mix/matching of paints. Spray booth maintenance, eg: filter changes. Spray gun maintenance, keeping clean and working well. Ordering comsumables/products/paints. Confidence dealing with suppliers & clients. Self-motivated and organised.

Able to keep your area clean and tidy. Adhere to all health and safety & hazardous goods requirements. Eye for detail and finishing. Good written and verbal skills. Punctual / reliable to being at work on time. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Pay rate negotiable and depends on experience and knowledge.
