About us our legal firm provides full support to Sentinel Property Group (SPG). Sentinel Property Group is a leading property investment fund with over $2 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). It delivers returns of 19.05% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) per annum across over $1 billion of historical transactions, with 1000+ active High-Net-Worth investors.

Key responsibilities provide sophisticated legal advice on complex property transactions and corporate matters. Draft, review, negotiate, and finalise high-level legal documents and contracts. Conduct and oversee comprehensive legal due diligence on property transactions. Lead commercial negotiations on behalf of the company.
Assist the Director of Legal in managing the legal team's workload and priorities. Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical support to the team members. Review and quality-check work produced by the legal team. Contribute to the development of legal team processes and best practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business. Manage relationships with external counsel and other legal service providers. Represent the legal team in cross-functional meetings and projects. Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
What You'll bring a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a current Queensland Practising Certificate. At least 7 years post-admission experience (PAE) in property law, especially in the commercial and retail sectors. Strong experience in managing complex property transactions. Proven ability to lead and mentor junior legal professionals.
Excellent analytical skills, commercial acumen, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in legal practice management software and MS Office Suite.
