Our Opportunity - 24 Month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to be involved as the Site Manager for a large-scale renewable energy project, based close to Dargaville, you'll provide effective client-side site management, supervision and construction interface management to assist in the successful delivery of the project.
You'll be our eyes and ears on the ground, collaborating with project teams, contractors, landowners, suppliers and the wider community to achieve completion of this project.
And that's where your social skills come in, there are lots of parties involved in this project - getting on with a wide range of stakeholders will be important. Health & Safety as always plays a key part of this project and your ability to drive a positive culture and attitude to site safety will be key.
Key responsibilities include day to day onsite representation for Mercury and work closely with contractors for the duration of the construction works. Contribute to site wide meetings and engagements. Work closely with the Project Manager and Mercury Project Team to identify key construction interfaces and priorities. Quality and safety management. Risk and conflict management.
We are looking for construction supervision/management experience, civil experience preferred. Relationship building and communication. Demonstrated leadership of site-based contractors and employees. Industry knowledge - renewable energy, civil or electricity generation experience preferable.
