Description
General Manager Geyser Community Foundation location Bay of Plenty.
Our Executive Officer retires in March, so we are seeking an exceptional leader to provide overall management and deliver strategic objectives set by the Board. The position is based in Rotorua, with some travel required within the Central Plateau region. A fulltime commitment is preferred. The position has the support of two part-time staff and a volunteer board.
Qualifications and experience 3 - 5 years' experience managing a team at both strategic and operational levels with demonstrable track records of developing and executing strategies and plans, establishing, managing and reporting budgets, managing personnel and volunteers, strong connections in the local community, successful fundraising, especially donor and bequest programmes and donor stewardship.
Effective marketing in commercial, public or charity sector, preferably with a tertiary qualification in marketing and / or management, supporting effective governance, experience in public speaking.
