About the company Agelis Group of companies are seeking an experienced Finance Administration Officer to join our team in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be working alongside the General Manager and will be supported by our finance team and CFO.

This role is ideally suited for a high-calibre candidate possessing excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service, and a pragmatic, can-do attitude.

Duties include manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Processing fortnightly payroll, including PAYG, Superannuation and Work Cover. Assist with budgeting, cashflow management and forecasting activities.

Utilise Xero and other accounting software to accurately record financial transactions. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, along with maintaining the integrity of financial data. Prepare financial reports to support management decision-making. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Skills and experience proven experience (2-3 years) in Finance role proficiency in using Xero, Xero Projects and Microsoft Office programmes. Experience in processing payroll, including superannuation and PAYG. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.

Flexible approach. Accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain strict confidentiality. Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently with minimum supervision and able to prioritise effectively. Knowledge of accounting principles and GST legislation relating to Tax invoices. Construction Industry experience desirable but not essential.
