People and Culture Advisor Delegat location Auckland.
The opportunity we’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Advisor to join our global team. If you’re a proactive self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment and has a passion for learning, this role is perfect for you. As a People & Culture Advisor, you'll get to engage in a variety of HR activities and provide valuable guidance on regulations and legislation to support our operations teams.
What You’ll Be doing provide strategic HR Support by proactively advising managers on all People & Culture activities, ensuring alignment with current employment laws and business requirements.
Manage a range of HR generalist activities including end-to-end recruitment, reporting, workplace health and safety (WHS), remuneration, employee relations (ER), and participate in learning and development (L&D) projects like employee engagement, diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), wellbeing, and change management.
Handle key HR coordination tasks such as posting job adverts, creating employment offers, setting up assessment profiles, reporting, data analysis, background checks, and benefits administration. Provide guidance and ER coaching to managers through performance improvement plans and disciplinary processes. Assist in the creation and delivery of training sessions and facilitating workshops.
What you’ll bring at least 2 years of effective stakeholder management, HR and ER Advisory experience beyond HR administration/coordination. Understanding of NZ employment law is a must and any exposure to global employment law is a bonus.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate through the complexities of HR and ER. A growth mindset where you proactively take ownership of your personal development through feedback, learning on the job and self-directed learning. Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience using HRIS and payroll systems ideal.
