The role make a difference in our community. This position assists in delivering graphic design services to showcase the City of Whittlesea’s wide-ranging projects, services, events and programs. Under the direction of the Graphic Designer, this role will produce modern and engaging communications material to support the City of Whittlesea’s communications agenda, including corporate publications, advertising, infographics, templates, social media, signage and online assets. The role is responsible for delivering consistency, accessibility and professionalism in line with Council’s established visual identity, while creating collateral that is fresh and on-trend.

About you, you thrive in a fast-paced busy environment juggling multiple deadlines. You will have tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry experience in graphic design or visual communications, with a proven track record of producing high-quality collateral to support brands, programs or events. You will have a positive and consultative approach to design, working efficiently to create contemporary stand-out collateral. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience working for/with local government is preferred but not essential.
