Located near Geelong on the Bellarine Peninsula, Timberzoo is a recycled timber business specialising in the supply of recycled Australian native hardwoods in both dressed and sawn products.

At the core of the business is a small production mill with an established 22-year tradition of producing dressed boards from amazing native hardwoods.

We are seeking a trained & competent Timber Machinist to head our existing production team. Working hours are an attractive Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.36pm. Conditions offered are excellent and we encourage applicants from all states to apply.

Key responsibilities include set-up, operation and general maintenance of Stirling Profile Moulder, REX 4 sider & Bandsaw. Lead our team of machinists in processing a variety of timber products and profiles. Work alongside our production manager to manage daily/weekly run schedules. Adhere to safety standards.

Successful applicants will possess the following previous experience and relevant Timber Industry trade qualifications. The ability to work proficiently both individually and as a team.

Eye for detail, ability to fault find and excellent problem-solving skills. Commitment and an enthusiastic work ethic. Demonstrated leadership skills. Dependability and reliability. Forklift license.

It is essential that you have good communication skills, to enable transference of your current skills, but also demonstrate a willingness to learn the intricacies of machining recycled timber in this boutique setting.
