Traffic Management NZ is one of New Zealand’s leading providers of Temporary Traffic Management. Recently joining the Altus Group of traffic management services, we share a commitment to enhancing safety by expertly managing traffic.
Working with main road authorities, councils and both public and private entities. Altus Group currently provides and delivers more than 2 million hours of traffic management services annually through a continuously growing resource base.
With continuous growth and strong pipelines of work we currently have job opportunities across multiple locations including Auckland North - (Dairy Flats/ Albany). Auckland South (Takanini). Auckland Central (Onehunga).
Duties perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events. Monitor traffic behavior and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times. Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans. Complete vehicle pre-start checks. Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment. Complete required paperwork.
Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site. Interactions with clients and members of public. Obey instructions from team leaders. Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public. Attend call-out work as required/rostered.
Skills & Experience TTM & TMO ticketed desirable, but training / tickets can be provided, Driving license. Ability to stand for long periods of time and complete manual labor tasks.
Willing to undertake and pass drug and alcohol screening. NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa/permit. Availability to work days, nights and weekends. People who can work individually and in teams. Safety focused people with good communication skills.
