Accounts Officer Eximm location Gold Coast.
Accounts Officer - part-time position. Eximm is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated accounts person / book keeper to showcase their attention to detail and strong organisational skills in this central and pivotal role.
This position works closely with our Chief Financial Officer, to assist with the management of all aspects of financial accounts, in accordance with standard accounting principles. The Accounts Officer provides efficient and reliable support to the whole of the accounting department.
Duties & responsibilities receipt all customer payments in both the job management system and MYOB. Maintain complete and accurate records including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts and filing. Communicate with clients to discuss account status, charges or discrepancies and to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
Provide prompt, courteous responses to enquiries from customers or suppliers. Identify and provide solutions for accounting irregularities. Actively seek opportunities to streamline procedures. Reconciling statements, invoices and end of month accounts.
Issue monthly customer statements. Use Ezy Collect system for outstanding payments and follow up unpaid invoices as required. Electronic filing. Daily banking & mail. Other reasonable tasks as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.
Your skills will include high level of computer literacy with an accounting package (MYOB). Minimum 5 years accounting background with a full understanding of accounting procedures, practice and transactions. Professional communication and exceptional customer service.
Ability to productively manage their time, whilst juggling multiple priorities. The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit, professional team with a strong customer focus.
