About us at Manatū Hauora - Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters.
The Knowledge Services team is responsible for the management and provision of advice and practical assistance to kamahi regarding good information management practices, monitor usage and target education initiatives to the Ministry.
What you'll do the Advisor, Knowledge Services provides accurate and timely information management, across physical and electronic information systems within the Ministry in compliance with, legislative and regulatory obligations. This position is supporting the Ministry's Wellington office where majority of our roles are.
What you'll bring experience in a sophisticated environment; collaborative tools, document management, intranet, workflow, records management and portals. Knowledge of SharePoint an advantage. Knowledge of legislative requirements such as the Public Records Act 2005 and the Privacy Act 2020.
Experience of knowledge management concepts and philosophies. Proven organisational skills and ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving accuracy and confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to tailor complex messages.
