About the team our Utilities Facilities Delivery unit is responsible for the project management of sewage treatment plant (STP) capital works projects for the city including new, upgrades and renewals. The team comprises experienced professionals that are driven by innovation and dedicated to delivering high quality assets for the City.

About your new role this position is focused on providing support and assistance to the team throughout the project lifecycle. Support the Program Managers, Project Managers and Project Engineers with delivery of infrastructure projects from concept planning, detailed design and specification through to and including construction and commissioning phase.

Assist the completion and processing the following activities variations and claims. Request for information. Updating project management reporting software (PMIS). Small value procurement. Recording meeting minutes. Budget forecasting and accruals.

Project completion activities. Ensure provisions of all relevant City standards, policies, and processes are applied and adhered to in projects. Conduct day to day activities in accordance with the City’s High-Performance Principles and Project Delivery Compass.

We're looking for people who have experience in document control, procurement and contract administration of municipal infrastructure construction and service projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining organised.

A keen eye for detail and proactive in understanding the key objectives of the business to find better ways to support the team. Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Suite and SAP. The ability to build strong working relationships and provide advice for administrative best practice.
