Property or Asset Manager Archway Recruitment location Wellington.

About the role this privately owned company is looking for a Property / Asset Manager to join their team based in Wellington CBD, this is a permanent, full-time role. Reporting to the GM, you will be part of a tight-knit team of Property and Facilities Managers who work collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of commercial properties across Wellington.

This is a broad role that will give you exposure to all aspects of Property Management, including budgets, rent views, lease negotiations, etc, to name a few. The core working hours are Monday – Friday 8.30-5pm and will be office based when not on site.

Key duties will include manage tenant relationships. Deal with any lease related issues including rent reviews & lease renewals. Prepare lease related documents. Negotiate new leases. Communicate and manage relationships with Real Estate Agents. Maintain the tenancy schedule. Project Management interior office fit-out.

About You, you will ideally have at least 2+ years’ experience as a Commercial Property Manager and have great stakeholder management skills. Further to this, you will have the ability to take initiative and work independently. Knowledge around facilities management will be advantageous as you could from time to time be required to support the Facilities Managers.

You could also be a Property Law graduate (or similar) with a few years’ experience who is tired of long hours and slow career progression. There are great career development opportunities available and you will be working alongside some of the best in the business.
