This exceptional employer is now on the lookout for an experienced and strategic leader to manage their inventory and purchasing operations. In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape inventory strategy, improve productivity, and ensure seamless in-store and offsite stock management.

About the role lead inventory management across the store, handling everything from purchasing to onboarding new suppliers. Conduct range reviews and introduce strategies to enhance product productivity.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the purchasing team, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers (both local and international). Oversee the maintenance of stock levels and ensure efficient management of MOQ’s, MSDQ’s, and the entire listing strategy. Work as part of the senior leadership team, you will be communicating data insights and strategies effectively and be highly influential across the store operation.

About you, you must have proven industry experience in retail, specifically big box. You are a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills. You have experience managing teams and have the ability to influence and manage a team of 6-8 staff across inventory and inward goods departments.

You have prior experience in conducting range reviews and introducing productivity-enhancing strategies and can provide examples. You have been involved in buying and price negotiations with both local and international suppliers. SAP experience is beneficial but not required.
