About the role as this highly regarded business continue to grow and build on their excellent reputation they are seeking a Health and Safety professional to help transform the mindset, behaviour and skillset of their workforce. Lead the development on Health and Safety operations.

Manage and oversee 1 direct report (H&S advisor). Build a positive Safety culture across the business. Provide guidance on how to use the Safe365 framework. Conduct site visits. Identify risks through audits. Develop inductions, training plans etc. Reporting, documentation and analysis.

Skills & experience the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within the local market. A Bachelors Degree (or similar) in Health and Safety and strong knowledge of NZ Health and Safety regulations is essential. A proven track record of implementation of Health and Safety systems will need to be demonstrated. Strong leadership and communication skills will also be required.
