Handpicked Wines is an Australian based producer, headquartered in Sydney, with vineyards in the Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Tasmania and Barossa Valley.  We have also established long term partnerships with growers in wine regions across Australia and overseas. Reporting to the Finance Manager and based in Sydney, you will be responsible for oversee the ar and ap function to ensure the efficient and timely processes, managing month end management including accruals, depreciation and prepayments, managing inter-company accounting and reconciliation, statutory tax compliance, including bas, payg, income tax and payroll tax calculations and lodgment, providing support on production of the annual budget and forecasts and analysis with commentary, processing the payroll for the multiple entities within the group, managing the banking process, payment and reconciliation, providing support on producing financial analysis as needed, assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts, assisting with internal and external audit. The Successful Applicant will have the following competencies accounting degree qualified, at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, experience working with multiple entities, intermediate ms excel & word skills, good communication skills, both written and oral, self-motivated and able to work independently, proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, good analytical skill, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, we offer a competitive remuneration package aimed to attract candidates who thrive in a fast-paced business environment that is all about growth.
