Programme Development & Quality Assurance Leader, (NEW full-time position based in Timaru).
The opportunity, we continue to experience strong demand to support taiohi, takata, whānau and hapori. To support this mahi the NEW full-time position of Programme Development & Quality Assurance Leader has been established to support our Youth & Community Development mahi across the rohe in which we operate.
Reporting to the Manager Youth & Community Development, this full-time position will be responsible for programme Development, including design and planning, stakeholder engagement, proposal development and programme implementation within our Youth & Community Development area of operations; and quality Assurance, including contract compliance, management, accountability and reporting; monitoring and evaluation; and review adaption of existing programmes and services.
Ideal Person specifications a qualification and/or experience in a relevant field such as Youth and/or Community Development, Social Work, or Programme Management. Proven experience in programme development, resource creation, grant and accountability report writing. Strong understanding of community dynamic and programme design principles. Knowledge of relevant community networks and resources.
The successful applicant must also be a “people person”, with a positive energy and a passion and intrinsic desire to empower and support taiohi, takata, whānau, and hapori. be prepared to build strong relationships with taiohi, takata, whānau, and hapori. be confident, resourceful, optimistic, and ready to meet any challenge. be highly organised, with strong computer skills.
enjoy working independently and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be a highly effective communicator, both written and verbally. be able to maintain professional boundaries. Be strong on common sense, resiliency, empathy; have a sense of humour and be able to use initiative.
