Accounts Assistant Frenchams location Sydney, Parramatta and Western Suburbs. Long established Australian owned Plantscaping Hire Company is seeking an Accounts Assistant for our office located in Silverwater. Growth within the business has provided this opportunity for a new fulltime position to provide assistance with the day-to-day running of the Accounts department of our small, but busy office. The successful applicant will be a mature minded person who is proactive, able to work efficiently in a small office environment, and displays a high level of attention to detail and time management skills. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the role includes a range of administration, customer service and accounting functions such as accounts receivable for different entities, monthly reconciliation of credit cards, allocation of daily payment and collections, processing supplier's invoices, payment and reconciliation, record keeping and maintenance of suppliers and creditors, liaising with suppliers, customers and other entities as required, franchise functions including payments and record keeping, attending to incoming calls and other general filing and administration duties, other adhoc duties as directed by the fam and managers, for this position we are looking for an applicant with previous experience in debt collection and proven results in this area. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position with strong written and verbal communication skills essential. Candidates displaying intermediate to advanced computer skills, accounts and customer service will be highly regarded. Experience with ABM is an advantage. Salary is expected to be around $60k + super, however the final package will be negotiated based on the successful Candidate's experience. Depending on the Candidate's aptitude and experience, there is an expectation to further develop the role's responsibilities over time.
